Changes to Industrial Relations arrangement in Queensland for Apprentices and trainees
From 1 January 2010, all employers and employees in Queensland, with the exception of those within State and local government and some specified Queensland Government owned Corporations, will be covered under the new national industrial relations system administered by the Commonwealth Government.
Wages and conditions of employment of Queensland apprentices and trainees who are under the new national industrial relations systems will, from 1 January 2010, be administered by the Commonwealth Government’s Fair Work Australia. The Fair Work Infoline will replace the advisory services previously provided by Wageline.
